
Saint Lucia, also known as THE HELLEN OF THE WEST, is one of the most beautiful Island in the Caribbean. The Island was discovered by Christopher Columbus in 1492, then changed hands between the French and the British for fourteen times.
In 1979 the island gained its independence from Great Britain, and now it is Self-Governed, with a Prime Minister as the Head of the Island, but the King remains the Head and responsible for defense.
The official language of Saint Lucia is English, however, since the island has changed hands for so many times, the natives speak a French dialect, (CEAOLE FRENCH) which is a combination of French, English and Spanish.
The natives of Saint Lucia are extremely friendly, and the weather in Saint Lucia is good all year round.

THE NORTH.... Though it is approximately 40 miles from the International Airport, you will love and enjoy it. Very popular, lots of Night Activities, also the home to the town of Rodney Bay, which has the most beautiful beaches on the island. SOUTH OF THE ISLAND.... That part of Saint Lucia, is very close to the International Airport, and ideal for vacationers who want to relax and rest during their vacation. They can visit several other locations in the Vieux Fort area. The South part of the Island is also very historic with ruins, rusty canons in some places.
THE WEST SIDE OF THE ISLAND... The West Coast of the Island Soufriere, the home of the French Capital, during the French occupation. There you visit the Sulfur Spring, enjoy a mineral bath, visit the beautiful gardens, and enjoy watching beautiful birds, walk to the Volcano area with a Tour Guide. You can also walk around the old town, and can also hike around the lovely Pitons.
THE CENTRAL PART OF THE ISLAND... While this part of the Island does not have beautiful beaches, but it offers a variety of opportunities that other parts do not Offer. The central part of the Island is the home to various forest reserve that protect the natural plant and animal life of Saint Lucia. Edmund Forest Reserve is one of the most popular out of all of these. You might also see some of the Island's most exotic birds and a few small mammals. It is a little harder to find hotel lodging in the central part on the Island.
